Clubhouse Kickoff Event
We introduced the Well-Suited College and Career Planning Clubhouse to high school and college students through Zoom. We discussed the services provided to the Clubhouse mentees, such as tutoring and career services, and presented an inspirational video of Jose Hernandez, a Clubhouse alumnus.
Mentees were placed into breakout rooms to attend mentor presentations on a variety of different topics.
Topics discussed were:
1. Being Successful as a First-Generation College Student
2. Mental Health Management in College
3. Different Paths Towards College: What are Your Next Steps to Prepare for Your Future?
4. Time Is Money: How to be Financially Literate
